First Year: HERE!
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "I am back!"
So, a year later, I was one of them!
Those... infamous JKOs...
We're FEISTY FIERCE
We're just a bunch of FRIENDLY normal people, who welcome freshmen!
My team was Bridge, and... Jeng jeng jeng~
Bridge's the Best Team! Thanks to these awesome people!
SULTAN AZLAN LAW LECTURE SERIES
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "Good Food"
Food for the intellectual mind, I mean...
If you get what I mean *Mr. Bean*
Here's a picture of us volunteers helping out.
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "Enriching Experience"
Because I was the treasurer for an activity that sells tickets like hotcakes.
In fact, we actually sold Hot Seats, how regular ticks got sold out too soon!
$$$$ *Ka Ching!* $$$$
Every single year.
Not surprising - when it's dramatic like this!
The good news is:
And... it'll only get better!
Mark your calendar, people!
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "Stronger"
Which, also happens to be our theme by the way...
Who'd have thought, purple could be this chic?
All made possible by Afiqah! The talents law students are bestowed with... Tsk tsk tsk...
Snippets of what actually took place that night:
the hall was filled with Beauty Queens...
the stage taken over by "Malaysian Idols"
the podium... manoeuvred by a renown and reputable speaker...
These are the people behind it all!
This was how glee and eager we all looked, before it started..
And this was how glee and excited we all still looked at the end of it all.
Start strong, finish strong, my headmistress would always say.
And that's exactly what we did!
It ain't over, till the fat lady sings, they say...
Well, she is no where near fat - but she certainly is BIG being the DIRECTOR i.e. mastermind behind it all...
...and after months and months of toiling, she finally said...
"People, job well done!" with a smile, mind you.
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "Getaway"
Despite how busy things were, found time to go for a tour around China with these three amazing people!
5 cities, 7 days... Pretty crazy huh?
Nanjing - still.
Xin Lin was there to oversee everything, and really, being the 'mother' of the trip! <3 p="">3>
9TH ICRC IHL M'SIA
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be... well anything but "emotional"
And till today, we still have not figured out why they called it an "emotional battle"?
Well, it started with a dream...
... that slowly morphed its way into a reality.
but not without hard work, team spirit and perseverance, mind you!
So, there I was, once again, with a cup too big to fill just drinks.
Lookin' a lil older, a lil more haggard from the sleepless nights and fast food...
But, well, it's all well-worth because.......
11TH IHL HK
We got to go to HONG KOOOOOONG!!!!
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "Disneyland!!!"
I am joking, of course. It's "mentally tormenting"
Made better by these crazy people I was privileged enough to work with...
Don't believe me?
Here's how crazy they are...
But of course,
we did visit Disneyland...
Saw the castle and the fireworks...
dropped by the ICAC
had the infamous Wantan Noodles...
...the Polo Bun...
... and of course, the Milk Tea.
But these weren't the best part.
The BEST part is...
How Eugene went through the rain and thunder for us girls...
But it certainly was how he summed it all up:
HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS - PHILIPPINES
If I could sum it all up in one phrase - it's be "heart-wrenching experience"
We visited children... The kid assigned to me. Great person, I tell you!
Went to one of the most under-developed part of Manila, Philippines, Tolondo.
We did murals on walls.
Yeap, left my prints on the Philippines' walls!
Made friends across continents!
If I could sum it all up in one phrase, it'd be "the inevitable hurdle"
Thank God lectures were fun, with unconventional lecturers.
and we won, by the way. Prolly due to the unconventional costume, partly, at least.
Well, I did good enough.
Exams result, IMHO is still overrated.
That being said, I am not advocating that you should flunk your papers... no.
That did not come from me.
Still smiling, so I guess...
the fight is still on!
BRING IT ON, THIRD YEAR!!!
on a separate note:
I did it all with his (and my family's, of course) support.
Thanks, dear. I wuv you. :D
